Restricted Tasks Manager

Introduction

Restricted Tasks Manager allows you to schedule, or submit to a job queue, any number of restricted state functions, such as SAVSYS, SAVLIB(*NONSYS), RCLSTG etc. to be performed in a completely unattended environment.

This can lead to overtime cost savings while ensuring essential system backups and housekeeping tasks are performed regularly.

For total peace of mind, you can be kept informed of progress, or be made aware of any problems, at any time before, during or after the system is in a restricted state.

Restricted Tasks Manager not only does what its name implies but a lot more besides and does it very well.

Complete system backups are now run every weekend unattended, previously this was a once-a-month attended process.
