View messages, alerts and important event notifications from any Halcyon product and from any platform on the centralized GUI Enterprise Console.

Message Manager
Monitors any message queue or the QHST history log for any type of message. Comprehensive filters ensure you are alerted to important messages while ignoring the routine.

Message Communicator
Sends messages to phones, pagers or to email addresses. Used in conjunction with one of the Halcyon message monitoring products, 2-way SMS can be used to answer inquiry messages or to execute any command on an IBM iSeries server. Set up Escalation Lists, Broadcast Groups, Schedules and Rotas so that messages get sent to the appropriate on-call personnel.

System Event Manager
Monitors system events that do not generate a system message yet still might hold up processing. For example, comms line varied off or a job queue held at the wrong time. Includes comprehensive filtering so that only your pre-defined error conditions are actioned.

Inactivity Manager
Take action if screens are left unattended, especially relevant for the new VISA PCI regulations. Different actions possible for different users, group profiles, devices etc.

Audit Journal Monitor
Monitors in real-time the system audit journal, QAUDJRN. Comprehensive filters can identify important security events and bring those to your immediate attention.

Performance Manager
Analyzes current and past performance to produce accurate and up-to-the-minute performance statistics and trends. PC GUI front end shows instant performance snapshots. Service Level Report Wizard included for you to print either standard reports or your own fully customized reports.

Restricted Tasks Manager
Schedule, or submit to a job queue, any number of restricted state functions, such as SAVSYS, SAVLIB(*NONSYS), RCLSTG etc. to be executed in a completely unattended environment. Monitor and answer messages during restricted state and optionally notify personnel about completion and error messages by SMS or pager.

Disk Space Manager
Discover what’s eating up your disk space and use for regular system housekeeping. Identify objects not being saved, objects without source and vice versa, objects not used in a long time etc. PC GUI front end allows quick inquiries and reporting and many drill-down options.

Job Scheduler
Functionally rich yet very easy to use. The Halcyon Job Scheduler's design incorporates some important features not found in other Job Schedulers. Multiple dependences allow a job to be conditioned on the status of other jobs and jobs can be submitted to different iSeries servers and even to other platforms and the jobs can also be tracked on those machines.

Spool File Manager
Easy-to-use spool file distribution and archiving. Comprehensive, real-time, spool file monitoring and filtering options can automatically override spool file attributes without any need for program changes. Spool files can also be distributed automatically based on information contained within report titles. Export Spool Files to PDF. Includes email facility.

Policy Minder
Policy Minder is a security policy management tool that aides in security compliance. By simply running one command you will quickly know if your system's configuration is in compliance with your policy, and, if not, you can fix it - fast.

Risk Assessor
Risk Assessor is diagnostic tool that compares your security configuration to "security best practices". The product is designed to automate the gathering and analysis of essential security configuration information for your auditors.

Record and Playback
Use the Halcyon Record and Playback when jobs are either run interactively, or interactive screens have to be processed before a job can be submitted to the job queue. Record all the keystrokes (including Function and Enter Keys) necessary to submit a job and playback the sequence automatically within Job Scheduler. Run-time variables also catered for.

HA-MX Monitor
The Halcyon HA-MX Monitor allows you to monitor the status of your MIMIX® processes, alerting you to any problems as they occur and reporting when the problems have been resolved. Within each type, multiple filters can be created which will allow you to have separate filters for each data group.

DataGuard
A real-time database monitoring solution. Stops non-compliant data entry and even prevents records being written to the file if necessary. Full audit trail gives you before and after record images and a complete history of who performed the record update. Can rewrite deleted records.

Screen Message Utility
Use the Halcyon Screen Message Utility for the iSeries i5 / as400 to send messages to devices, before users sign on. Users can be kept fully informed of events and progress of system downtime on screen, without you having to continually phone to let them know.
