Office Depot Opt for High Availability Suite

Office Depot has opted for Halcyon's High Availability Suite after an extensive evaluation period. Office Depot wanted to minimise the risk of disaster and human error as well as implement a high degree of automation to their business processes.
The Software allows them to monitor and pro-actively manage their System i™ (iSeries™, AS/400™) production and back up machines, the software allows them to manage their System i™ (iSeries™, AS/400™) machines located at two different sites based in Venlo in Holland, and Leicester in the UK.
Halcyon's High Availability Suite provides message management, system event management, and has a total of twelve different monitors as well as the capability of carrying out automated system backups which are viewed as critical to their operations. The software also provides Office Depot with performance management, disk space management and audit journal monitoring. The software is configured to provide instant notification of any problems or errors by sending a text message to mobile phones or to a centralised console for overall management.
