Free Whitepaper For Network Managers

Halcyon Software Limited, leading developers in Systems Management Software, have released a free white paper entitled “Managing Your Enterprise”.

The paper examines how the changing nature of technologies, combined with insufficient system management tools, has left IT organisations with environments that are expensive to manage. This struggle gets worse as the demand for mission-critical computing grows. Customer demands also raise expectations of acceptable service levels and as a result, the entire network must be more reliable, available around the clock, and easier to manage and service. Systems must run continuously for longer periods of time without interruption and problems must be diagnosed and repaired without impact on business operations. Disruption of platform availability during routine service must be avoided and critical applications and services must always be available.

The free white paper talks about how these problems can be reduced by implementing an Enterprise Management system. The white paper also covers how adopting an enterprise management system can save the IT department time and money as well as detecting problems before they turn into more serious or critical situations.

The white paper is linked to a series of free seminars on “Managing Your Network”. That Halcyon are running at their Peterborough head office on 14th September and 12th October 2005.
