Edexcel Opt for Systems Operation Suite

Edexcel, part of the worlds largest education services company has opted for Halcyon's Systems Operation Suite and Job Scheduler. Edexcel relies heavily on the use of IT for internal and external communications. By using the Systems Operation Suite potential problems are quickly identified and captured using the inbuilt filters within the software and notification of serious issues can be instantly sent to the IT operators via mobile phone, email or a centralized console. Edexcel also required an advanced and flexible Job Scheduler to cater for the complexity of their job scheduling tasks and one which could also cope with the multi-dependencies of job streams as well as large volumes of jobs processed on a 24/7 basis.
