Shepard Exposition Services Becomes the First US Customer to Purchase Halcyon Software’s Network Server Suite

Vertical VAR and Halcyon Software, the internationally recognized systems management software company, has today announced that Shepard Exposition Services, a full service general exposition contractor, has become the first US company to purchase Halcyon’s Intel systems management tools. The order has been made via Vertical VAR – Halcyon’s Advanced Partner based in Atlanta GA

Shepard Exposition Services has purchased the Network Server Suite (NSS), a comprehensive package of monitoring and systems management automation tools designed to provide maximum availability of the organization’s servers and network devices.

The software was designed to ensure that Shepard Exposition Services’ IT support team can have complete visibility of all critical applications 24/7. As part of the agreement Vertical VAR will provide support for NSS post implementation.

Halcyon Software Channel Manager, Sean Gallagher comments, “Halcyon has had a presence in the US market since 2001 and with Vertical VAR, our Advanced Partner since 2005, IBM System i management tools have been sold successfully into the US market by Vertical VAR but having Shepard Exposition Services purchase our Intel tools is an important milestone as it demonstrates the confidence of our clients and partners in Halcyon’s system management tools outside of our IBM System i portfolio.
